#154 #beersaturday Brewdog IPA
Proud to announce the casualty of my Beer Saturday submission. I found it in my fridge, here you can see me studying the box.
The box definitely smells of cardboard. Not a very good first impression. But then again, it's only the box.
Brewdog was founded in 2007 by James Watt and Martin Dickie and it is headquartered in Ellon (Scotland). Although I live in Scotland (and this probably one of the reasons you can find this beer in most shops here), I have no idea where Ellon is. Let's google map it:
Right. It is north of Aberdeen and Ellon has an Aldi. Not sure if Ellon Aldi carries Brewdog beers though.
Ok, they do although not the one that I am clasping in my hand. Just another reason for me to test the punk IPA one later.
In any case, the beer that I will be sampling this Saturday is the BrewDog IPA. It looks like the beer will be at its best at that time because further inspection of the box reveals:
Whooosh. Right on the money! April 2021. I must admit that I had a fright at first. This lockdown has me completely disoriented in time and space, I swear I thought we were in November 2022.
This is how far I can go with this sample I'm afraid. I can't open the box at the moment. My wife told me my new expiry date will be May 23rd, 2020 if I did!!.
Cheers everyone! Have a great Saturday!
